Travel & Accommodations
We recommend flying into Munich International Airport (MUC), which is well connected internationally through Lufthansa and a number of major airlines, including American Airlines, United, and Delta and their partner networks.
From the airport, you can easily travel by train into central Munich and then connect directly to Kaufering, where Wasserle is located. The journey is straightforward and well connected by Germany’s rail system.
As we get closer to the event, we will provide additional travel details, including recommended train connections, approximate pricing, and guidance based on attendees’ travel plans.
Hotel Rid — Kaufering, Germany
We recommend staying at Hotel Rid, which is conveniently located within walking distance of both the train station and the Wasserle office. Kaufering also offers a direct train connection to Munich, making it easy to visit the city on your own if desired.
As the event takes place at the tailend of Oktoberfest (Wiesn) season, hotel prices in Munich may still be high. For that reason, we suggest staying locally and using the train for any trips into Munich.
