I’m reaching out to share some important news with you. After 15 years, I’ve decided to pass the torch of the Small Giants Community. It is ready for a new leader to continue this work and to honor the principles we all learned originally in Bo’s book. It was his inspiration and partnership that got this all going.
Many of you know that Hamsa and I have embarked on a new adventure called
Kintsugi Village, a Detroit-based non-profit that will serve as a community hub for children and families. The work on this start-up is exciting, challenging and rewarding.
I’m pleased to announce that Jean Moncrieff (
LinkedIn), who has been part of the Community since its inception, will be taking over from this point forward. Many of you know Jean as an entrepreneur, leadership coach, podcaster and educator. I have complete trust and confidence in his long-term vision for our organization.
As we turn this page, I want to acknowledge all of you. This isn’t just a group or a brand. It’s a living Community of leaders who have chosen a different path. That spirit will continue under Jean’s leadership, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting him as he writes the next chapter with you.
For those of you who attended the recent Small Giants Summit in Detroit, you know that our small but mighty team of Katie, Heidi and Bridget have been executing wonderfully and creating great experiences for our members. They are excited to now be working with Jean.
I’d like to thank all of you for your love, support and guidance over all of these years. Hamsa and I are honored to have led the organization and hope that we’ve touched many of you by bringing purpose, values and meaning to your work.
